CERPA has developed a portal website for the benefit of herbal fraternity.

This main objectives of this web portal www.herbalcerpa.org are:

a)

  

To provide plant wise details in terms of botanical and chemical properties. Also, relevant economic data such as price, availability, demand exports/imports etc
b)

 

To provide information with respect to producers of herbal products, with their size, products and such other details as be available or producers / manufacturers may wish to place on this website.

c) To provide information on :
  (i)                                                                                           Importers and exporters of herbal plants and  products   in India and abroad.                                                                           
  (ii) Herbal Gardens.
  (iii)                                                                                           Research and training organizations working in the area of herbal plants/products with their capabilities and interests.
  (iv) Extension service providers with their areas of specialization.
  (v) Testing laboratories with their specializations and capabilities.
  (vi)                                                                                                Such other information as may be of interest to various stake holders in the herbal sector.

                                                                                                          To facilitate e-marketing of medicinal plants and herbal products by bringing together providers/ collectors of these plants and their buyers both in India and abroad. Also to link manufacturers of herbal products with their buyers both in India and abroad.

                                                                                                          To present such other information as be of interest to various stake holders such as Central and State level medicinal plant Boards, NABARD and other banking institutions, Centre and State Institutes working in this area, various associations of manufacturers of herbal products, collectors and cultivators of plants, transporters and marketers of herbal plants, machinery and equipment manufacturers catering to herbal plants and products, and similar other stake holders with interests in the development of this sector.
